Five of our intrepid ladies (and a dog) went on one of our longer walks last Thursday across the Dunstable Downs. Sue lead us along an old drovers road, through the village of Totternhoe and then back up to the top of the downs. The Hill of Doom was rather tough going back up so we took a few stops to admire the view! We also went to Whipsnade Tree Cathedral. A lovely day with eating our lunch out in the sunny countryside and then back for coffee/tea and cake in the National Trust cafe at the top.
Thanks to our Frances having grown up in the area she was able to point out places
of interest. Definatly a walk I will be doing again sometime.
