Demonstration: Rapskallian Morris Dancers

This local Morris group will lead us through the mysteries of Morris Dancing, before demonstrating their dances, so we can all join in.

A talk about how Waitrose source and produce food

from all around the world, with yummy food tastings.

 

9th March    

Speaker: Steve Snook, Beekeeper

A talk entitled ‘Bee to Jar’ – the dynamics of the bee

colony, life of the working bee and queen, and honey

and wax production.

13th April    

Demonstration: Sue Starr, Stony Floral Society

A talk and floral demonstration by our local floral society.

With an event to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

Speaker: Michelle Binfield, Health and Wellbeing

Coach

A low impact circuit session, designed for all abilities

focusing on balance and functional moves.

        

13th July      

Speaker: Sue Mitchell – Dog Behaviourist

Talk on the preparation of dogs for Shows and she will

be bringing one of her dogs. Sue will also talk about

The Pet Blood Bank and Pets as Therapy charities.

Speaker: Andy Forbes, Wolverton Foodbank

Andy dedicates his time to the Kings Community Centre in Wolverton where they provide free meals to those in need. Food Bank donations appreciated

Speaker: Martin Fagan, The Community Heartbeat Trust

A talk about the Chain of Survival with a demonstration on how to use a defibrillator. The charity’s mission is to increase the chances of survival from cardiac arrest by providing community defibrillators.

A fun filled festive meeting, with crafty activities, Secret Santa gifts and a Christmas Hamper Raffle.
